How To Makeover An Antique Clock

Let me show you how to turn a wooden antique clock into something new. I’ll show you how easy it is to makeover an antique clock. 

Have you ever come across a piece of old furniture that you love but needs an upgrade? When I spotted this little, old, wooden Mantle Clock, I was so happy. It definitely needed some TLC to make it more modern and fun but I could totally picture it as something totally different.

Some 3D stencil fiber paste, a brush, and some paint was all it took to complete this makeover. If you are wanting this same look on an antique clock of your own, grab your supplies, and let’s get going!

Instructions for your antique clock:

  1. Remove your clock from the base.
  2. Sand your base.
  3. Using baby wipes, wipe off all the dust from sanding.
  4. Using a heat gun just dry your base a little bit.
  5. Take your 3D stencil fiber paste and stipple it all over your base using your paint brush.
  6. When your design is dry, use your sanding block to knock down the very pointy pieces.

Instructions

  • Remove your clock from the base.
