Quick And Easy Christmas Suitcase
If you are still thinking about what fun and festive crafts you can do to decorate your house for the Christmas season, then look no further!! This Christmas suitcase is super quick and easy and will make add that cute festive flare to your home.
This suitcase was so fun and easy to make and you could use the other side to decorate differently for a different season!
Believe me when I say it gave me a run for my money though! In the beginning, I was very confident about this project, then the transfer wouldn’t stick… whaaaa?
Creating Your Christmas Suitcase
Follow a long as I show you how to transform an old suitcase into a cute decoration piece!
Supplies for creating your Christmas suitcase:
- Old/Vintage Suitcase
- Decor Transfer
- Wipes
- Heat Gun
- Fusion Top Coat
- Paintbrush
- Transfer Tool
Instructions for creating your Christmas suitcase:
- Take your suitcase and give it a wipe down with wipes.
- I went right to work with laying the transfer down and rubbing it on! But to my surprise, things took a turn and it came right back up with the plastic. That had never happened to me before! So on to Plan B.
- Take your top coat sealer and paint a layer on the top of your suitcase
- Dry your top coat with a heat gun.
- Lay your transfer over the surface and rub it down with the stick that came in your transfer and/or a transfer tool. That did the trick!
- Peel off the plastic sheet of the transfer.
- Seal the transfer down with more fusion top coat.

- Take your suitcase and give it a wipe down with wipes.
